Sergio and Stefano welcome you to their home where you will learn traditional Tuscan Recipes while being immersed in the natural landscapes of Tuscany. Enjoy ‘hands on ‘ cooking lessons along with a pizza making night taught by Sergio and Stefano who are both chefs.
The courses are informal and taught in the restaurant which is situated in the oldest part of the villa in the ambience of a typical Tuscan wine cellar with arched brick ceilings and stone walls, where wine was once fermented in large chestnut barrels.
Discover the flavours of another era in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The cooking lessons are about the traditional Tuscan “Cucina Povera” (country cooking ). For 20 years they owned a very successful restaurant in the florentine countryside that was popular with Florentine people and Italian celebraties
because they cooked the typical tuscan food like 'ribollita, tortelli, panzanella, etc.. The hectares farm also produces a fine extra virgin olive oil which is used in all the cooking.
The rich colours of the romantic tuscan landscape are constantly changing with the seasons. Lessons with our local English artist, using coloured pencils and watercolours, include the understanding and use of colour, shadow and perspective. More importantly, they aim to give you the confidence to create your own "momento" of your stay to Tuscany to take home with you.
Excursions include the most famous landmarks of Tuscany ;Siena, San Gimginano and Florence. Where you will enjoy free time to shop and sight see. A wine tasting in Chianti, visit Chianti Village towns. You will also have time to relax and enjoy the wondrous country side that surrounds the property.
